9th I Timothy Chapter 1 Chapter 6 Not Tired Yet

Memory Verses: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; I Timothy 2:1 | I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. I Timothy 1:8 | Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. I Timothy 3:9 | And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  I Timothy 3:16 | For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. I Timothy 4:10 | But godliness with contentment is great gain. I Timothy 6:6

Today’s Devotional:

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

I TIMOTHY 4:11-16

11 These things command and teach. 12Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Do not be weary in well doing. Share your victorious testimony. You do not know all who need to hear how you came through trials and tribulations. But God has placed you in a unique situation. No other person is in the exact place where you are, having the exact same experience that you have had. The devil meant it for bad, to wit you might be destroyed and none should overcome by your triumph – but all things work together for good to those who love God; to them who are the called according to His purpose.

Do you love God? This is the question Jesus asked. Do not get tired of God asking you to reaffirm your love to Him. What he says unto one, he says unto all: watch and pray. Do not allow the enemy a corner in which to grow webs that entangle you. Walk in the light. Let God be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path. Love the Lord with all your heart, mind and strength. And love your neighbor as yourself. Remember, love conquers all. God is love.

Do you love God? Feed His sheep.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. My God shall supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Lord, I thank you, by the blood of Jesus that no good thing will be withheld from me, because I walk upright before you in your presence. You are my sun and shield. You Lord will give grace and honor. Your peace rules in my heart. You have called and anointed me for your purpose. I seek your perfect and divine will. You, Lord are my source and strength, a very present help.
